How Online Games Are Transforming Free Time

Were you born at a time when games were a physical experience? Do you remember when people hung out in the streets and played poker, backgammon, and chess with random passersby as their audiences? When you were a kid, did “playing games” mean going outside to interact with other kids your age?

Over the last few decades, gaming has become digitised, reducing these old-time activities to mere relics of the past. Nowadays, iGaming offers more opportunities than ever — not only to play but also to win big. With free spins bonus options, generous welcome packages, and innovative in-game elements that grant points and cash rewards, the options are endless. It’s no wonder people of all ages spend their free time playing these new games.

In this article, the AuCasinosList team will trace the evolution of online gaming and explore its impact on how we spend our free time and interact with others.

The Evolution of Online Gaming: A Historical Retrospective

The story of online gaming began in the 1970s, when the internet was still in its infancy, and gaming was a niche pastime for tech enthusiasts. Early experiments like MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons) allowed players to interact in text-based adventures, creating the first taste of online multiplayer gaming. These games ran on ARPANET, the precursor to the internet, and laid the foundation for what was to come.

By the 1980s, bulletin board systems (BBS) enabled players to connect through dial-up modems and compete in then-popular games like Trade Wars and Legend of the Red Dragon. Though the graphics and gameplay seem primitive by today’s standards, these innovations sparked the idea that gaming can be a shared interactive online experience.

The Rise of Multiplayer and Console Gaming in the 1990s

The 1990s were arguably the golden age of online gaming. During this decade, the field saw massive development and progress; online gaming became such a big boom that everyone was suddenly “hot for gaming”.

When home gaming consoles became a “must” in most households, companies like Sony and Sega started exploring how to make gaming even more exciting by integrating new elements. Sega made a bold move in 1999 with the release of the Dreamcast console. Suddenly, console gaming wasn’t just something you did on your own; with the built-in online features, it became a social activity, allowing players to challenge friends and fellow gamers without leaving their homes.

Meanwhile, PC gaming flourished with titles like Quake and Ultima Online, which revolutionised the multiplayer experience by connecting players worldwide via real-time gaming servers. These games also scratched the surface of the social aspect of online gaming and laid the foundation for the rise of online communities and eSports.

The Boom of Online Casinos and Casual Games in the 2000s

What started as a “golden innovation” in the 1990s quickly became a global phenomenon, opening numerous jobs and driving the gaming industry’s economic success. This was the era of Candy Crush and Farmville, games that allowed players to reach a seemingly endless number of new levels. It was also the era of games in which a player’s progress largely depended on the social environment and “friends” inside the game.

At AuCasinosList, we also remember this decade for the birth and massive expansion of online casinos. Throughout the noughties, popular casino games like blackjack and poker were popular, mainly because they allowed players to make progress and earn free spins, granting them an opportunity to try numerous games without an initial deposit.

Mobile Gaming and the Digital Revolution of the 2010s

The 2010s put online games in everyone’s pockets, thanks to the rise of smartphones and platforms like the App Store and Google Play. Mobile gaming turned free time into an endless adventure, with a flood of apps offering quick, exciting experiences on the go.

Online casinos began launching apps as well. With daily rewards, seamless gameplay, free spins promotions, VIP levels, and tournaments, they transformed iGaming from an activity to kill time during short breaks into a thrilling opportunity to win enticing rewards.

The Modern Era: VR, AR, and Streaming Platforms of the 2020s

VR and AR are still in the early stages of transforming online gaming, but the current trends are very promising. In terms of online gambling, VR casinos emulate the feeling of walking through real-life gaming venues. At the same time, AR brings brick-and-mortar casino elements like roulette wheels and poker tables into your living room.

“These innovations have made gaming more social, realistic, and exciting than ever”, says Lola Henderson, author and gambling expert from AuCasinosList. She cites platforms like Twitch and YouTube Gaming that let fans watch others play, participate via chat, and even join live games, offering an experience that redefines free time.

How Online Gaming Is Transforming Free Time

Since gaming has become a social activity, people can “hang out” and challenge each other in virtual chat and gaming rooms, adding an extra layer of fun to their interaction. Let’s say you’re not a sporty type, but you have a friend who is, and you’re both gaming enthusiasts. Now, you can challenge them in a one-on-one tennis match in a virtual environment.

“What’s more, people are expanding their social groups by making new friends within their online gaming communities”, expert Lola Henderson adds. “It’s a truly unique space where everyone shares the same passion and enjoys spending their free time.”

The VR/AR Integration in Sports and Active Gaming

With VR sports simulators, you can hit the golf course or step onto a football field from your own bedroom. These games let you turn free time into active time without breaking a sweat.

AR games like Pokémon GO bring adventure to your everyday life, transforming the world around you into an interactive playground. These games allow you to travel the world while staying in a comfortable environment, which is one of the reasons the AuCasinosList is fond of this trend. If this proposal sounds interesting, we recommend giving AR and VR gaming a shot for a fresh perspective on how to spend your downtime.

Gaming Expos as Leisure Travel Destinations

E3, Gamescom, and the Tokyo Game Show are some of the numerous events that bring together avid players and curious guests from across the globe. If you never wanted to visit Tokyo, the Game Show is an excellent opportunity, as it’s a full-blown cultural event. From hands-on experiences with cutting-edge games to tournaments, panels, and meet-and-greets with developers, these events are bucket list destinations for many.

Gamification of Education and Skill Development

Online gaming is about fun, but it also transforms the way we learn and adopt new skills. Platforms like Duolingo (for learning new languages) and CodeCombat (for learning programming skills) use game mechanics, such as rewards, challenges, and progress tracking, to make education engaging. Even casual mobile gaming can improve cognitive skills and help with anxiety, like drawing Mandalas or playing simple brain games to boost your mental capacity.

The Impact of Online Gaming on General Entertainment

Gaming and movies are blending like never before. Blockbuster games like Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 have inspired binge-worthy TV series, while films like Ready Player One and Free Guy celebrate the gaming culture on the big screen.

The connection works in both directions: big movie titles like Jurassic Park and The Dark Knight Rises have been transformed into rewarding casino slots, where reels bring the excitement of Hollywood to the gaming world. These crossovers create a unique blend of innovation and nostalgia, opening up new ways for fans to engage in their fandom.

Final Words

Gaming is no longer reserved for game nights and internet sessions. Smartphones have become a significant part of our daily lives, allowing us instant access to online games no matter where we are — commuting, waiting in long lines, or road-tripping.

Moreover, we no longer see games as an activity “to pass the time”. Nowadays, thanks to features like progress tracking and real-life events, conventions, and expos, gaming is a lifestyle and a hobby for many. At AuCasinosList, we see this evolution as more than just a trend. With game elements finding their way into everyday activities — from learning new languages to acquiring skills to advance our careers — gaming is the future of leisure.

Do You Really Need Expensive Photo Equipment? Top 7 Considerations

Whether you’re considering picking up photography as a new hobby or you’re looking to turn your passion for the craft into a full-time career, one of the most pressing concerns you’ll likely encounter is how much to invest in your equipment. On the one hand, you’ll want top-quality gear to elevate the look of your photos, especially if you’re aiming to be a professional photographer. On the other hand, you may not have the means to shell out a large amount for a good camera and accessories right off the bat.

How exactly do you determine whether to invest in expensive photo equipment or explore cheaper alternatives instead? Here are some considerations that can help you arrive at an answer.

  1. Define Your Purpose

Before buying anything, ask yourself first: “Why do I need this equipment?” Defining your purpose allows you to determine whether or not investing in expensive equipment is the right move for you at the moment.

For instance, if you’re aiming to set up a photography business, then investing in high-quality gear is critical. Other factors or elements such as where to shoot can easily be remedied through rentals. If you’re around Berlin, for instance, then a quick search of “fotostudio mieten” online can help you find multiple studios to rent at a reasonable price.

Meanwhile, if you’re only taking up photography as a hobbyist, then less expensive gear will suffice for casual shooting. This also allows you to get acquainted with the basics of photography and different camera settings first, so that you can make a more informed decision once you’re ready to upgrade later on.

  1. Evaluate Your Skill Level

Expensive gear are often priced that way because they come with advanced features such as customisable settings, faster autofocus, and higher dynamic range, which are usually not available in entry-level cameras. If you’re a complete beginner, then you may not even have the skills yet to fully use these features.

Hence, consider starting with a more affordable camera first to develop your skills before upgrading to professional-grade equipment. Meanwhile, if you’re a professional photographer who can understand how to use advanced features to improve your photos, then upgrading might be more justified

  1. Consider Rental or Pre-Owned Options

You may be able to get cheaper alternatives that come close to the features offered by premium cameras if you know where to look. Thus, always explore your options first, particularly by looking at pre-owned or rental cameras.

Renting helps you try out expensive gear before committing to purchasing your own. It’s also a great way to evaluate if a certain equipment meets your needs or if you need to look for a different model instead. Meanwhile, if you’re thinking of buying pre-owned gear, make sure you’ve done your research so that you can properly inspect the equipment being sold and confirm that it’s still in good condition.

  1. Factor in Additional Costs

The camera body is just one part of the equation. Additional equipment such as lenses, tripods, external flashes, and memory cards can make your expenses balloon quickly. If you determine that any of the additional costs will put you over budget, consider going for a mid-range camera and accessories instead to bring your overall expenses closer to your financial means.

  1. Consider Your Long-Term Goals

Buying equipment that aligns with your long-term goals can help you save you money in the future. For instance, if you plan to expand your skills further or even venture to different types of photography, then it’s best to invest in camera systems that enable upgrades such as those with interchangeable lenses and wide accessory compatibility. This way, you won’t have to buy a new camera when the time comes.

Avoid buying equipment just because they’re cheap as well. Instead, consider spending a bit more upfront on a durable and future-proof camera that can save you from needing to upgrade frequently.

  1. Seek Expert Advice

Deciding on what camera model or equipment will suit your specific requirements can be difficult, given the large selection available. To avoid investing your money in the wrong equipment, seek advice from experienced photographers. You can get started by joining online photography communities to get recommendations on either beginner-friendly cameras (if you’re a hobbyist) or cameras that’ll suit your specific needs (if you’re a professional photographer).

  1. Reflect on Your Commitment

At the end of the day, photography equipment is only as good as the person using it. If you think you can stay committed to photography as a craft, then investing in expensive equipment can be worth it. However, if you don’t see yourself sticking to photography in the long run, buying expensive equipment will only be a waste. Asking yourself, “Am I committed to making the most of this purchase?” can help you determine whether or not the high price point of an equipment is justified.

By thoroughly evaluating these considerations, you’ll be better equipped to decide whether an expensive camera or photo equipment aligns with your needs, skills, and financial situation. This approach also ensures that your investment—whether modest or significant—will add real value to your photography journey.

Reasons to Try Green Light Therapy Today

Green light therapy is emerging as an innovative treatment option in the health and wellness field, gaining popularity for its ability to address a myriad of health concerns. This therapy works by emitting green light that penetrates the skin and provides potential benefits for physical ailments and skin conditions.

As individuals become more proactive about their health, the science behind green light therapy can motivate many to incorporate it into their wellness routine. From its applications in pain relief to enhancing mental well-being, the virtues of this therapy are now clearer with each passing day.

What Is Green Light Therapy and How Does It Work?

Before delving into the benefits, let’s define green light therapy. The essence of green light therapy lies in its wavelength, which ranges from approximately 520 to 570 nanometers. Compared to ultraviolet light, this specific range can target the skin without causing any damage. Green light therapy has been scientifically investigated for various applications, including skin rejuvenation and pain management.

Principles of photobiomodulation may explain why green light therapy can alleviate discomfort and uplift mood. Studies suggest it can enhance energy levels, vitality, and mental clarity, a popular choice among those looking to improve their overall health.

Alleviating Pain and Discomfort

Green light therapy has been reported to help alleviate various forms of pain, chronic conditions in particular. Many individuals suffering from painful headaches, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and other ailments have found relief through this innovative treatment. The therapy aids in reducing inflammation, which is commonly at the root of chronic pain. As light penetrates the skin, it stimulates cellular repair processes and provides natural pain relief without the need for pharmaceuticals. Patients have documented experiences of reduced intensity and frequency of pain episodes, a promising alternative for those tired of relying solely on medication.

Enhancing Skin Health

Beyond its pain-relieving properties, green light therapy also does wonders for skin health. It has been shown to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance by stimulating collagen production and enhancing cell turnover. As a result, regular application can lead to a more youthful complexion, reduced fine lines, and diminished pigmentation issues.

Green light therapy can regulate sebum production, a beneficial treatment for those struggling with acne-prone skin. Over time, patients may observe a decrease in blemishes and an increase in clarity and radiance. It can be a gentle treatment option for individuals with sensitive skin; it is non-invasive and carries minimal risk of side effects. Regular treatment sessions promote healthier skin and contribute to a positive overall self-image. For those seeking to enhance their skincare routine, green light therapy may be a significant step toward achieving glowing skin.

Improving Sleep Quality

Thanks to the prevalence of sleep disorders continually on the rise, non-invasive solutions are desperately needed. Research suggests that exposure to certain light wavelengths can modulate the body’s circadian rhythms. If you incorporate green light therapy into your routine, you may experience improved sleep duration and quality, leaving you feeling more refreshed and energized.

Better sleep patterns foster enhanced cognitive function and emotional resilience, equipping individuals with the demands of daily life. By synergizing relaxation during evening hours, green light therapy can cultivate an environment conducive to a restorative night’s sleep.

Support for Mental Well-Being

Mental health is another area where green light therapy shines bright. The calming effects of green light can facilitate relaxation, which may help to alleviate mental fatigue and improve emotional stability. This holistic approach to mental health treatment emphasizes the importance of integrating mind and body wellness, moving beyond traditional pharmacological methods.

Many users have reported feeling a sense of peace and uplift after sessions. A consistent green light therapy regimen may potentially enhance the efficacy of other therapeutic interventions as well, enabling individuals to better manage their mental health challenges.

Convenience and Accessibility

Most devices are available for home use and enable individuals to incorporate therapy into their daily routines without the need for professional appointments. Whether using a handheld device or a full-body panel, treatments can be tailored to fit personal preferences and schedules.

This type of therapy may be relatively affordable compared to ongoing treatments in clinics, making it a cost-effective solution for various health conditions. Accessibility extends beyond financial considerations, as many devices are simple to use even for those with little prior experience with light therapy. The growing awareness surrounding this innovative therapy is paving the way for a more health-conscious community.

Incorporating green light therapy into your wellness regimen can yield transformative results across multiple domains of health. From pain management and skin enhancement to improved sleep and mental well-being, the potential benefits are vast and varied. As more individuals recognize its value, green light therapy may become a staple in modern holistic health treatments.

How to Choose the Right Lab-Grown Diamond for Your Ring

Lab-grown diamonds have gained great popularity all over the world. They are beautiful, sparkling, and cheap. So it is not surprising that more and more buyers choose this option. But you will see such a variety of offers on the market that you can get lost. In this article, we will tell you how to choose the right stone.

Budget

When it comes to diamond jewelry, this is the primary factor. Of course, the cost of the lab grown diamond engagement rings will be lower than that of natural stones. However, it can still be a significant amount. Therefore, calculate in advance how much you are willing to spend. The size and quality of the stone depend on this. Don’t think that diamonds cost a fortune. A small stone of average quality is quite affordable for almost everyone.

It is believed that an engagement ring should cost at least three salaries of the future groom. However, can love and seriousness of intentions be measured in money? You should not postpone a marriage proposal just because you cannot afford a certain ring. There are now a variety of options available for different budgets.

Availability of Certificate

Contrary to popular belief, not all diamonds require mandatory certification. Usually, it is only required for medium and large stones. If you need jewelry with small diamonds, there may not be a certificate. It is important to understand why you are buying jewelry. You should not worry about papers if it is simply a desire to wear a beautiful thing. If you consider this purchase an investment, then you cannot do so without a certificate.

By the way, if you are worried that you might get a fake, then go to Rare Carat. Independent experts check all stones so you can rest assured. In addition, it is also profitable: check pricing here and see for yourself.

Shape and Cut

After you have decided on the accompanying factors, it is time to move on to the most pleasant part: choosing the shape of the stone. Currently, there are many types of cutting, each of which is beautiful in its own way. Here, you need to rely on your taste and think about what style is inherent in the future owner of the diamond. A solid emerald cut will suit elegant people who prefer a classic style. And a frivolous ring with heart-shaped 2 carat diamonds is more suitable for a young and romantic person.

Compatibility with Other Jewelry

Rarely does a person wear only one piece of jewelry. And if the style of a diamond ring or brooch is significantly different, it is unlikely to be worn. Do not condemn beautiful stones to lie in a box; select them in accordance with the style of the future owner. By the way, the same applies to the frame. Beauty lies in harmony.

Manufacturer

Unfortunately, this parameter is quite difficult for an ordinary person to control. In addition, there are unscrupulous manufacturers in the gemstone market who overstate the quality of their products. In order not to waste half your life mastering the jewelry business, it is important to choose the right seller. Stores that value their reputation will never cooperate with dubious companies. Rare Carat offers diamonds only from trusted suppliers.

Don’t Hesitate to Ask

Buying a diamond is a responsible matter. Therefore, it is important that you consult and get answers to questions. In fact, you do not have to thoroughly understand the stones’ characteristics and properties. Responsible platforms will always help with the choice. You will be able to get answers to all your questions. There is nothing shameful about this. Just ask for help to avoid mistakes when choosing.

Conclusion

Choosing a piece of jewelry is a delicate matter. You need to consider the preferences of the future owner of the stone, choose the shape and size, and at the same time stick to the established budget. However, thanks to diamond-growing technology, you can choose what you need for a much lower price. It means you will have plenty to choose from. And if you get completely confused, you can always get professional advice from the Rare Carat staff.

The Significance of Diamonds in Special Occasions

Do you need a reason to please your loved one with a beautiful piece of jewelry? Of course not. But diamonds have always had a special place in society, and it is customary to give them on special occasions. Let’s see what these situations are.

Engagement

It seems that this tradition has always existed, but in fact, it is less than a hundred years old. It appeared after the Great Depression — a large-scale economic collapse in the late 1920s. After the crisis and the First World War, people needed stability, and the diamond became its symbol: a diamond is forever like our family. At the same time, it is always valuable and will not let the family perish in the event of another economic collapse.

There is an opinion that such a ring shows the seriousness of a man’s intentions and should cost about three months of his earnings. We will not equate the relationship with the cost of engagement rings. However, any girl will be happy to receive such a classic marriage proposal.

Relationship Anniversary

Abroad, they even came up with different types of rings for each big date: the longer you are together, the more diamonds there should be in the ring. But you don’t have to get attached to this. Any diamond, even without a frame, is a good reason to remind your partner how much you value them and how happy you are to be together. At the same time, you don’t have to give away a fortune because diamonds can be quite affordable. Check prices at Rare Carat, and you will definitely find a suitable gift.

Birth of a Child

Today, this tradition is gaining popularity in the USA and will probably become known throughout the world. In this case, a diamond is a sign of deep gratitude to a woman for the birth of a child. By the way, a diamond can be given to the newborn. However, they will find out about this when they grow up.

Completion of Studies

These are important stages in a teenager’s life: steps into adulthood and independent life, searching for and finding oneself. And hardly anyone will deny that both of these periods are not only interesting but also quite difficult. Those who have passed them with dignity deserve a real reward. A diamond decoration will be a great gift for this significant event. Check pricing here to find the best offer.

Gift for Mother

For some reason, diamonds are considered to be gifts for brides. But in every person’s life, mom is another important woman. She gave you life, taught you everything she knew, worried you, and did not sleep at night, and she will always love you no matter what. You can express your deep respect and affection with the help of diamond jewelry. No woman will remain indifferent.

Career Achievement

Some people get them quickly, while others work hard for years to achieve them. In both cases, this is a sign of diligence, professionalism, excellent business qualities, and respect from colleagues. Let the achievement remain in your history not only as a new line in your resume but also as a dazzling diamond on your finger.

You can also show your partner that you support him and see his efforts to build a career. For this reason, diamonds are often given to men as cuff links, tie clips, and other status items.

Any Holiday

A diamond is a surefire gift for any occasion, be it a birthday, Valentine’s Day, or even Christmas. You can choose a small or lab-grown stone if your budget is limited. Either way, it will be a beautiful gift that will definitely bring joy.

Conclusion

As you can see, there is no situation in which a diamond gift would not be appropriate. Moreover, you can even give them to yourself. Personal finances are an important topic for any person. We would all like to have something “for a rainy day” that will not lose its value over the years and, ideally, will only increase our savings. High-quality diamonds are just such an object. At the same time, they take up little space, do not require special storage conditions, and while waiting for that very “rainy day” (which most likely will not come), they will shine in jewelry.

Igniting Cultural Conversations: The Art of Haige Wu

Haige Wu is a dynamic artist, photographer, and illustrator whose work bridges the cultural landscapes of China and London. Born in Guangdong, China, in 1998, Haige has cultivated a deeply personal and innovative practice that spans sculpture, painting, and mixed media. Her art, often rooted in themes of feminism, regional culture, and self-identity, transforms her research and fieldwork into evocative, abstract storylines. Through incorporating traditional craft techniques such as lacquer painting, woodworking, and glass art, Haige infuses her work with both historical depth and contemporary relevance. Her creative use of materials and storytelling invites viewers into a world where personal experience intertwines with wider socio-cultural dialogues.

A graduate of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Central Saint Martins, Haige’s academic path has led to her multidisciplinary approach. Her artistic achievements have been showcased in an impressive array of exhibitions, from international glass art festivals in China to curated shows at Tate Modern and other prominent galleries in London. Highlights of her career include her shortlisted work for the Holt Festival Art Prize and her participation in exhibitions such as Seeing Red at Chapel Art Studio, and There Is No Time Like Springs at Huang Contemporary. Through her diverse work, Haige Wu continues to challenge artistic rethinking en route to tackling multifaceted social-cultural themes.

Home Series

Haige Wu’s Home series is a compelling probe of familial ties, cultural heritage, and the evolving relationship amidst tradition and contemporaneity. At the heart of this series are the Flags, a collection of flame-like sculptures adorned with snazzy paper cutouts of dragons and tigers. Drawing from the symbolism of Chinese Feng Shui, the dragon and tiger traditionally represent blessings of happiness and prosperity for the family. Wu reimagines these symbols in a profoundly personal way, with the dragon representing her mother’s non-Hakka identity and the tiger embodying her sign and the strength of younger generations. These two mythical creatures, positioned in balance, act as protectors of the “home” while hinting at the inherent tension between safeguarding convention and propelling boundaries.

Home Series: Sweet Home

The dynamic forms of the flag sculptures evoke the energy of flames, suggesting both a protective warmth and the potential for destruction. This duality echoes Wu’s questioning of the family as both a source of stability and a site of transformation. The building they guard symbolizes the family structure, yet it also embodies a resistance to its constraints. Through this, Wu captures the intricate interplay between the weight of tradition and the yearning for individual agency—traditional paper cutouts further anchor the work in cultural heritage. At the same time, the abstract, modern forms highlight the cultural shifts brought about by globalization and the influence of the younger generation.

In the Home series, Wu masterfully blends personal narrative with universal themes. Her sculptures meditate on identity, generational transitions, and generational evolution. By intertwining her family’s story into the wider cultural symbology, she creates a dialogue between the past and the present, the traditional and the contemporary. The series reflects the power of new-age youth to challenge inherited structures while still honouring the cultural foundations upon which they stand. Haige Wu’s work is a vivid, thought-provoking testament to the fluidity of identity and the ever-changing landscape of familial and cultural bonds.

Lucy Liyou Announces New Album, Unveils New Single ‘Arrested’

Los Angeles-based Korean-American artist Lucy Liyou has a new album on the way: Every Video Without Your Face, Every Sound Without Your Name is slated for release on March 21 via Orange Milk. It’s led by the intimately resonant single ‘Arrested’, which comes paired with a Park Seung Won-directed music video. Check it out below.

The new album finds Liyou revisiting material she began writing as a 19-year-old college student. “Most of these songs were originally about my parents,” Liyou explained in a statement. “They were about wanting to be loved and accepted by my parents as a closeted transgender young adult. I tried recording some of these songs with their original lyrics but felt a dissonance. I don’t feel this wish to be accepted by my parents anymore. I have already accepted their love as pretty conditional. I don’t feel the need to tread that territory again for a while.”

“It’s strange because the desire I had for my parents to want me seems to have found a new space in the desire I have right now for my partner to stay with me,” Liyou continued. “So I started to rework these songs, preserving some of the recordings, lyrics, and arrangements of my past self, while supplementing them with new meanings and sounds.”

She concluded: “I don’t think this album is any more complicated than that. It’s not a breakup album. It’s just me doing my best to document what I’m feeling at this time. I named the record Every Video Without Your Face, Every Sound Without Your Name to remind myself that the more amorphous moments I’ve shared with you are the ones most important to me. Because they make me work harder to remember us as who we were together. And because that work means there is still love for me to mine. To keep.”

Liyou’s last LP was 2023’s Dog Dreams (개꿈). More recently, she contributed the Grouper-featuring ‘Blush’ to RedHot’s TRANSA compilation. Revisit our Artist Spotlight interview with Lucy Liyou.
