Sakamoto Days Season 2: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

Obsessed with the Netflix anime Sakamoto Days? You’re not alone. The Japanese series, which premiered in January 2025, quickly built a following thanks to its captivating storyline and gorgeous animation.

Revolving around a retired hitman who has to juggle family life with new threats, the show is a fun blend of action and comedy. So much so that fans are clamoring for it to go on for a long, long time. Will that be the case?

Sakamoto Days Season 2 Release Date

First off, the good news: the first season of the anime is still ongoing as of February, with episodes arriving weekly on Netflix. If you haven’t caught up with Taro Sakamoto yet, there’s no time like the present to give the show a stream.

That said, the first season of the anime will be broken up into two parts. For the second part, viewers will have to wait until July 2025. In other words, only around three months. Unfortunately, there’s no news about a potential season 2 just yet.

Sakamoto Days Japanese Cast

  • Tomokazu Sugita as Taro Sakamoto
  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura
  • Ayane Sakura as Lu Shaotang
  • Nao Toyama as Aoi Sakamoto
  • Hina Kino as Hana Sakamoto
  • Ryōta Suzuki as Heisuke Mashimo
  • Natsuki Hanae as Nagumo
  • Taku Yashiro as Shishiba
  • Saori Hayami as Osaragi

What Will Happen in Sakamoto Days Season 2?

The anime centres on Taro Sakamoto, who used to be a prolific hitman back in the day. He is a legend in the underworld, with many fearing the sheer sight of him. Taro gives up his criminal tendencies, however, when he falls in love with Aoi, who doesn’t approve of his way of life. He retires, and they soon start a family and run a convenience store.

Years later, his now peaceful existence is threatened when his past comes knocking. Out of both shape and practice, Sakamoto has to keep his loved one safe. Preferably without angering his wife or, worse, dying. He also has to keep his promise of not killing anyone, so he relies on his wits and the help of a few friends.

Sakamoto Days excels thanks to engaging action scenes and a healthy dose of humour. With enough source material to draw inspiration from, fans can rest assured that, as long as they keep watching, new episodes are just around the corner. But with season 1 currently ongoing, it’s tricky to speculate about what might happen next.

For now, we’re glued to the screen, eager to find out whether Sakamoto can maintain the façade of a quiet existence.

Is Sakamoto Days Based on a Book?

The anime is based on a popular manga series with the same name. Written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki, it launched in 2020 and is still ongoing. If you want to give it a read, Sakamoto Days is published in English on the Manga Plus online platform.

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Season 2: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

If you were a Scrubs fan back in the day, you already know that a medical comedy can work brilliantly. Netflix doubles down on that point with The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, a K-drama with comedic and thriller elements.

The show dropped on the streaming platform in January 2025 and quickly became a worldwide hit. With only eight episodes to binge, however, fans are now eagerly demanding more. Hopefully, they’ll get their wish.

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Season 2 Release Date

While The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Season 2 hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, the show’s popularity increases the chances of a renewal. Moreover, the show’s director is optimistic.

“I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, so I don’t know if I will do it or who will take charge of season 2, but I have prepared my own devices just in case,” Lee Do-Yoon recently said.

Actor Choo Young-woo also expressed enthusiasm for new episodes and confirmed he would definitely return. “If you love this work and want a next story, I won’t turn it down,” he stated.

Even if the show is picked up, though, fans will have to wait a bit for a new installment. Season 2 could arrive in early 2026.

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Cast

  • Ju Ji-hoon as Baek Kang-hyuk
  • Choo Young-woo as Yang Jae-won
  • Ha Young as Cheon Jang-mi
  • Yoon Kyung-ho as Han Yu-rim
  • Jung Jae-kwang as Park Gyeong-won

What Will Happen in The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Season 2?

The series revolves around Baek Kang-hyuk, a brilliant trauma surgeon whose methods are a bit unorthodox. He joins a university hospital, shaking things up in the process. While some are reluctant to follow his ways, he gradually earns the respect of his new colleagues.

Season 2 will likely continue to follow the trauma team’s efforts to save lives with limited resources, even as they clash with the hospital’s administration. They now have a helicopter, which will help them reach patients faster.

Unfortunately, that addition is likely not enough to change the system. Still, it will be interesting to see these dedicated doctors try. We can hardly wait.

Is The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Based on a Book?

The series is based on web novel Trauma Center: Golden Hour by Hansanleega and Hongbichira. You can check it out online.

Alpha Males Season 4: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

Netflix’s Spanish series Alpha Males is on a roll. With the third season dropping on the platform in January 2025, it quickly reminded audiences what makes it so special: an irresistible blend of heart and laughs.

In fact, the only bad thing about the series is that seasons are way too short. At only 10 episodes, dedicated fans can binge their way through a new installment in only a couple of days. It leaves them wanting more – and, this time, we can confirm they’re getting it.

Alpha Males Season 4 Release Date

Netflix has already renewed Alpha Males for season 4, so it’s definitely coming.

The show premiered in December 2022, with subsequent seasons arriving in February 2024 and January 2025, respectively. If the series follows this release schedule, new episodes should come to Netflix sometime in early 2026.

In more exiting news, the streaming service will release a German version of the series. Alpha Males is also being adapted in France, Italy, and the Netherlands. Given its popularity, we hope to see it run for years to come.

Alpha Males Cast

  • Gorka Otxoa as Santi
  • Fele Martínez as Luis Bravo
  • Fernando Gil as Pedro Aguilar
  • Raúl Tejón as Raúl Camacho
  • Paula Gallego as Álex
  • Raquel Guerrero as Esther
  • María Hervás as Daniela Galván
  • Kira Miró as Luz

What Will Happen in Alpha Males Season 4?

Alpha Males follows four 40-something men who slowly but surely notice that their male privilege is starting to falter. Forced to adapt to this new reality, they strive to learn what masculinity truly means in the modern age.

While the show’s title might put off some viewers, rest assured – Alpha Males is just as sweet as it is hilarious. By showing how patriarchy can damage those it’s meant to uplift, the series is definitely worth your time.

In season 3, for instance, the group discovers antifeminist concepts like the manosphere while going through a series of crises that will likely make viewers laugh out loud. We expect this trend to continue in future installments, and for the show to keep balancing humour with heart.

Is Alpha Males Based on a Book?

No. The series was created by a brother-and-sister team, Alberto and Laura Caballero. If you’re eager to find out what happens next, you’ll have to wait for the new season to hit streaming.

Incognito Season 2: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

Action drama Incognito wasted no time infiltrating TV fans’ watchlists. Shortly after its Netflix premiere on January 17, it climbed to the top spot in the platform’s Top 10 list in the Philippines, proving that a strong ensemble and a gripping story are enough to build a devoted fanbase in record time.

Now, however, all those viewers are wondering what comes next. With no word yet on renewal, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see whether new episodes of Incognito will be coming our way anytime soon.

Incognito Season 2 Release Date

With the first season of Incognito barely in the rearview mirror, it’s a little soon to speculate on the show’s future. Even so, its popularity in the Philippines suggests that we might see more from this band of misfits.

The show was actually created by a local company, and it premiered on the streaming service before making its pay TV debut. As long as new episodes get the green light, there’s a chance season 2 of Incognito will land on Netflix sometime in early 2026.

Incognito Cast

  • Richard Gutierrez as Jose “JB” Bonifacio
  • Daniel Padilla as Andres Malvar
  • Ian Veneracion as Col. Gregorio “Greg” Paterno
  • Baron Geisler as Miguel “Migs” Tecson
  • Kaila Estrada as Max Alvero
  • Anthony Jennings as Tomas “Tom” Guerrero
  • Maris Racal as Gabriela “Gab” Rivera / Scarlett

What Will Happen in Incognito Season 2?

Incognito revolves around seven people who join a private military company in search of redemption. They have complicated pasts and various (deadly) skills. Together, they go on dangerous missions, which make the show a riveting watch.

If the series gets a season 2, fans can expect more character development and, likely, even more spectacular action sequences. Director Lester Pimentel Ong was clear about selecting a cast that could deal with the physical challenges involved with filming the series. The actors had to undergo a serious training program that included martial arts and tactical combat.

Watching the series feels like watching a movie, with well-choreographed fights that keep you on the edge of the seat. As a result, we expect Incognito to go bigger and bolder in future episodes.

Is Incognito Based on a Book?

No, Incognito is an original series. In other words, if you want to know what happens next, you have to wait for season 2 to make its way to Netflix or pay TV. Thankfully, given the show’s early success, the wait shouldn’t be particularly gruesome.

The Recruit Season 3: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

Noah Centineo’s career hasn’t slowed down since his days in the popular To All the Boys movie trilogy. Now, the dashing actor stars in spy-adventure series The Recruit, about a young CIA operative who has a knack for becoming entangled in international conflicts.

The series debuted to a wildly positive audience response in 2022 and was quickly renewed for a second season, which dropped on Netflix in January 2025. But was this the last time we saw Owen Hendricks? While the show hasn’t been officially renewed yet, our money is on ‘no.’

The Recruit Season 3 Release Date

Season 2 of The Recruit amassed 5.9 million views in only four days, which should bode well for the show’s potential future. Even if the series gets another season, however, there’s a good chance fans will have to wait a while for new episodes.

Given the long break between the first two installments, we expect season 3 to arrive sometime in 2027. Maybe late 2026 at the earliest.

The Recruit Cast

  • Noah Centineo as Owen Hendricks
  • Aarti Mann as Violet Ebner
  • Colton Dunn as Lester Kitchens
  • Fivel Stewart as Hannah Copeland
  • Kristian Bruun as Janus Ferber
  • Kaylah Zander as Amelia Salazar

What Will Happen in The Recruit Season 3?

With no official premiere date or trailer in sight, all that’s left is wild speculation. Even so, the next season of The Recruit will likely take Owen on another wild adventure, maybe on foreign soil once again.

Season 2 took the CIA lawyer to South Korea, where he completed a risky mission he barely survived. On his way home, it looked like his CIA bosses were looking at him as sort of a scapegoat, so we might see him get in trouble once he makes it to the US. Or, we might get to enjoy him teaming up with Jang Kyun, played by Teo Yoo, since the two have a great on-screen rapport.

As for a location, nothing’s set in store – though star Centineo certainly has a wishlist. “Oh, maybe the Maldives. I’ve never been. Everybody likes them. St. Barts, maybe… I’ve never been to either of those places,” the show’s star told TVInsider.

One thing’s for sure: if The Recruit season 3 becomes reality, it will take viewers on another action-packed, wild ride. We can hardly wait.

Is The Recruit Based on True Events?

As surprising as it might sound, kind of! The Recruit is inspired by Adam Ciralsky’s real experiences as a former CIA lawyer. According to People, he was only 25 when he was recruited and stayed with the CIA for three years. Ciralsky is even an executive producer on The Recruit – but he makes it clear that the show’s story is heavily fictionalised.

My Happy Marriage Season 3: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

Romance anime My Happy Marriage has been a hit ever since it premiered in 2023. With stunning animation and a story that grabs you from the beginning, it’s the kind of series that basically forces viewers to come back for more.

Even better, the story doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, so there’s a chance it could continue for multiple installments. With season 2 currently streaming, however, there’s no official news on whether My Happy Marriage will be renewed. The only thing fans can do at the moment is keep watching.

My Happy Marriage Season 3 Release Date

The first season of the anime premiered in summer 2023. My Happy Marriage proved to be popular and came back for season 2, which debuted on Netflix in January 2025, with episodes arriving weekly on the platform. At the time of writing, the season is still ongoing, with the finale scheduled for March 31.

If a third season is given the green light, there’s a good chance it will drop online sometime in 2026.

My Happy Marriage Season 3 Cast

  • Reina Ueda as Miyo Saimori
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Kiyoka Kudo
  • Hiro Shimono as Yoshito Godo
  • Houko Kuwashima as Yurie

What Will Happen in My Happy Marriage Season 3?

The anime series revolves around Miyo Saimori, who is born without any abilities in a world where magic is real. She has a rough upbringing and is eventually sent to marry Kiyoka Kudo, a cruel commander with a bad reputation.

As she gets to know him, Miyo discovers that he’s not quite as bad as he seems. Together, they might actually have a chance at a happily ever after.

The series has likable characters and gorgeous animation. Additionally, it deals with difficult topics but occasionally delights viewers with comedic moments, making it an addictive watch.

In season 2, Miyo discovers more about herself and her gifts. On top of that, her relationship with Kiyoka deepens, even as the two face a series of new challenges. While it all depends on how this season progresses and where it ends, the story leaves plenty of room for development.

This is all speculation, but season 3 could expand on the romance while also having Miyo and Kiyoka tie the knot. Given the show’s title, we need to see a wedding eventually.

Is My Happy Marriage Based on a Book?

At this point, My Happy Marriage is a bona fide franchise. It all started with a light novel series penned by Akumi Agitogi. A manga adaptation followed, as well as a live-action film. If you’re looking to check out the source material, the novels are available in English.

W.A.G.s to Riches Season 2: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

0

Reality show enthusiasts have been buzzing about one of Netflix’s most recent forays into the genre.

W.A.G.s to Riches dropped on the streaming platform on January 22 with 8 highly bingeable episodes, leaving viewers desperate for more. While the show hasn’t been officially renewed yet, we’re pretty confident they’ll get their wish.

The series follows a group of women who are dating celebrities, but also looking to make a name for themselves. They’re not ones to live in anyone’s shadow, and they’re ready to hustle to see their dreams come true. No wonder fans are keen to keep following their journey.

W.A.G.s to Riches Season 2 Release Date

While W.A.G.s to Riches Season 2 hasn’t been greenlit yet, viewers can be cautiously optimistic.

Netflix has a solid track record when it comes to reality shows, and this one seems to thrive on drama, a hallmark of addictive viewing. Fans can expect new episodes in early 2026 – or even sooner, as long as these ladies are willing to embrace a tighter production schedule.

W.A.G.s to Riches Cast

  • Sharelle Rosado
  • Porsha Berto
  • Ashley Wheeler
  • Maranda Johnson
  • Alexis Welch Stoudemire
  • Sadé Vanessa
  • Lastonia “Stoni” Leviston
  • Keeta Hill

What Will Happen in W.A.G.s to Riches Season 2?

If you’ve already watched season 1, you know that this clique doesn’t shy away from barbs. The women at the centre of the show pull no punches when it comes to dealing with each other. They live their lives out loud, which only adds to the show’s appeal.

Moving forward, you can expect all that and more. The list includes fabulous gatherings, boozy brunches, stunning outfits, cattiness, and personal drama.

Plus, the first season ended with an intriguing cut to black. With the group gathering for a party, rumours about Rosado and her partner being open came up, with Leviston also stating that they’re basically in a PR relationship. How Rosado deals with the accusations will likely be a part of season 2.

Are the W.A.G.s to Riches Couples Still Together?

One snag in the show’s production might be Rosado’s personal life. She and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson actually separated ahead of the season 1 premiere, with Rosado stating they were never open to begin with.

Since the show’s focus is on W.A.G.s , however, we’re guessing the audience is more interested in the Selling Tampa star’s life than in her former fiancé. Hopefully, you won’t have to wait long to find out how  Rosado is dealing with her ex and whether she’s interested in other romantic entanglements.

two blinks, i love you Enlists Tonia for New Single ‘the coldest winter ever’

0

two blinks, i love you, aka Liverpool singer-songwriter Liam Brown, has shared a new single called ‘the coldest winter ever’. It arrives with an accompanying video filmed and edited by Ross Carrigan, which you can check out below.

“The core of the song’s message, I feel, is that ‘us vs. the world’ mentality when you’re in love,” Brown said in a press statement. “No matter where you are or what you’re doing, it doesn’t really affect you all that much when you love someone. It makes cold and harsh winters feel a little kinder, in some ways, maybe.”

“’the coldest winter ever’ came to me quite randomly one evening,” Brown continued. “I think my relationship with sleep is a bit estranged, and that was ultimately the reason I wrote this song. It was around 4 a.m., and I thought it would be interesting to write a love song set around wintertime. I was also a bit tired of Christmas songs and wanted to pay respects to the season without directly referencing Christmas. I wrote the song to help me fall asleep, essentially. The next morning, I woke up, recorded a rough demo, texted my good friend and mixing engineer, Sophie, and told her I thought my friend Antonia (Tonia) would sound great on it — and she did. And the rest is history.”

Then things ballooned into a full-on video. I walk around in it, trying to look Parisian, talking to the crows. Basically a day in the life of.”

Hermant added: “The video is a nesting doll of visualizers that are relaxing until they are not: Enter Dan’s night footage. Dan was trying to capture the wind. He did, but not in the way he thought he did.”

‘Hydroplaning off the Edge of the World’ is the second offering from Dan’s Boogie, following last month’s ‘Bologna’. The follow-up to 2022’s Labyrinthitis is due March 28 via Merge.
