‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ to surpass its budget of $150 million

The latest film in the Planet of the Apes franchise ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ is looking soon to surpass its mighty budget of $150 million.

With the film grossing over $56.5 million at the box office, the film has grossed close to ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ which got $54.8 million at the box office. ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ went onto make $481 million worldwide with the budget of $93 million. With the current estimate from Box Office Mojo ‘War For the Planet of the Apes’ has already made over $130 million worldwide.

The film has currently got a rating of 82% on Metacritic and a high rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Many critic reviews have passed this film to be one of the better films in the franchise.
