Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049 unsurprisingly topped the weekend Box Office.

‘Blade Runner 2049’ managed to gross a disappointing $31.5 million domestically, whilst it cashed in a more impressive amount $81.7 million worldwide.

In second place came ‘The Mountain Between Us’ featuring Idris Elba and Kate Winslet which managed to cash in a less impressive $10.1 million domestically. Whilst September’s record breaking horror film ‘It’ managed to get close to second with $9.6 million.

Not too disappointingly for Lionsgate in fourth came ‘My Little Pony: The Movie’ which managed to cash in $8.8 million, whilst in close fifth came ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ with $8.1 million.

This weekend’s big let down is ‘Blade Runner 2049’ which topped the weekend box office but did not manage to get the projected $45 to 50 million by Warner Bros.
