Mac DeMarco debuted a new song called ‘Fooled by Love’ during a remote performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Recorded as part of the show’s ongoing #PlayAtHome series, the performance features the Late Show bandleader Jon Batiste on piano, with DeMarco playing by his pool while a mannequin pig head rotates next to him. DeMarco’s last album was 2019’s Here Comes The Cowboy. Later this year, the singer-songwriter is set to release Here Comes the Cowboy Demos and Other Here Comes the Cowboy Demos on August 28 via Mac’s Record Label as part of Record Store Day. He was also recently featured on Nick Hakim’s new single, ‘Crumpy’.
