Cocteau Twins’ Liz Fraser Joins Sigur Rós’ Jónsi on New Song ‘Cannibal’

Sigur Rós’ Jónsi has shared a new song in collaboration with Cocteau Twins’ Liz Fraser. It’s called ‘Cannibal’ and it arrives with an accompanying music video co-directed by Giovanni Ribisi. Check it out below.

“When Sigur Rós was starting, we were always compared to Cocteau Twins and I really didn’t like that. I hated being compared to anybody,” Jonsi said in a press release about the track. “Then I got really into Cocteau Twins like two or three years ago. They’re so good. I understood the comparison then.”

‘Cannibal’ is taken from Jónsi’s upcoming album Shiver, set for release on October 2 via Krunk. Co-produced by A. G. Cook, the follow-up to his 2010 solo debut Go will include the previously released singles ‘Exhale’ and ‘Swill’.
