Phoenix have shared another song in the lead-up to their upcoming album Alpha Zulu – out November 4 via Loyauté/Glassnote Records. Following ‘Tonight’ with Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig and the title track, ‘Winter Solstice’ comes with an accompanying video directed by Warren Fu. Check it out below.
‘Winter Solstice’ is the only song on Alpha Zulu not composed in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, where the band recorded the album. Working remotely, Lauren Brancowitz, Christian Mazzalai, and Deck D’Arcy sent a loop to frontman Thomas Mars, who then provided the lyrics.
