Beyoncé Breaks Record for Most Grammy Victories of All Time

Beyoncé has set a new record for most Grammy Award wins of all time. Following victories for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song at the 2023 Grammys, the superstar took home the award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance, surpassing the conductor Georg Solti with a total of 32 wins.

“I’m trying not to be too emotional. I’m trying to just receive this night,” Beyoncé said in her acceptance speech, thanking her late uncle, her parents, Jay-Z, and her children for their support. She added, “I’d like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre. God bless you, thank you so much to the Grammys.”

Beyoncé led this year’s Grammy nominations with nine total, including for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. She’s also tied with Jay-Z for most nominations in Grammys history with 88 total. Check out the full list of 2023 Grammy nominees and winners here.
