The Breeders Announce ‘Last Splash’ 30th Anniversary Reissue, Share Previously Unreleased Song ‘Go Man Go’

The Breeders have announced a 30th anniversary reissue of their 1993 LP, Last SplashLast Splash (The 30th Anniversary Original Analog Edition) is set for release on September 22 via 4AD. The album was remastered from its original analog tapes, and it includes two unearthed archival songs, one of which – a co-write between Kim Deal and Black Francis from 1993 called ‘Go Man Go’ – is out now. Check out its accompanying video, directed by Brandon Weaver of Ironwing Studios, below.

The special edition of Last Splash spans two 12” 45rpm vinyl discs, plus an exclusive, one-sided etched 12” disc featuring the forgotten tracks. Along with ‘Go Man Go’, it contains ‘Divine Mascis’, a version of ‘Divine Hammer’ with lead vocals from Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis. The original sleeve art by the late designer Vaughan Oliver has also been reimagined by his long-time design partner Chris Bigg.
