The Staves Return With New Single ‘You Held It All’

The Staves are back with a new song, ‘You Held It All’, their first new music since 2021’s Good Woman. The track, the band’s first for Communion Records, was produced by John Congleton in Los Angeles. Listen to it below.

“’You Held It All’ is a song about understanding, and the knots we tie ourselves in when we don’t express our truth; and how much power and freedom there can be when we do,” the Staves said in a press release.

‘You Held It All’ also marks the band’s first recording without Emily Staveley-Taylor, who stepped back from their last tour following the birth of her first baby and has recently had a second child.
