Vampire Weekend have shared another single from their forthcoming album Only God Was Above Us, which comes out on April 5. Following previous entries ‘Capricorn’, ‘Gen X Cops’, and ‘Classical’, ‘Mary Boone’ was written by Ezra Koenig and produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and Koenig. It features a sample of the drum loop from Soul II Soul’s ‘Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)’. Check it out below.
In addition to the new track, Vampire Weekend have today announced a nine-date run of shows in the UK and Europe, kicking off on November 29 at Dublin’s 3Arena; find those dates below, too.
