The Linda Lindas Announce New Album ‘No Obligation’, Share Video for New Single

The Linda Lindas have announced their sophomore LP, No Obligation, which comes out October 11 via Epitaph. The follow-up to the 2022’s Growing Up is led by the single ‘All in My Head’, which arrives with a music video directed by James Wyatt. “It has the most indie vibes we’ve leaned into so far because it was written on an acoustic guitar,” the band’s Lucia de la Garza said in a statement. “Recording it was really fun, full of lots of dancing in the studio. I wrote ‘All In My Head,’ from the perspective of a book character, which kinda brought us out of our comfort zone.” The song was inspired by Ottessa Moshfegh’s My Year of Rest and Relaxation, which she read on tour last summer. “It felt like a break from reality, which we don’t usually find ourselves writing about,” de la Garza added.
