A new Harlan Coben adaptation is taking the world by storm. I Will Find You, which premiered recently, already amassed an impressive 24 million views. This makes it Netflix’s biggest series debut of 2026.
Not only is the thriller the most-watched show on the platform globally, but it’s also the #1 show in 60 countries this week. That definitely means it’s coming back with a follow-up, right? Here’s what we know so far.
I Will Find You Season 2 Release Date
Netflix hasn’t announced plans for I Will Find You season 2.
Great viewership numbers aside, the thriller is listed as a limited series. Plus, previous Harlan Coben adaptations have been standalones. While nothing is impossible, it looks like one season is all we’re getting for now.

What Is I Will Find You About?
Based on the novel of the same name, I Will Find You follows David Burroughs. He’s serving a life sentence for the murder of his three-year-old son, Matthew.
Years after the tragedy, his former sister-in-law and disgraced journalist Rachel brings him a photograph that appears to show Matthew alive. This convinces David that his son was kidnapped rather than killed. As a result, he escapes prison and embarks on a desperate search. Cue up family secrets and a conspiracy reaching far beyond his original conviction.
This is the kind of show that leaves you scratching your head in the best possible way. There are outlandish twists, there’s tension, there’s little reason to not watch the show in one sitting. At only 8 episodes, it’s quick and addictive.
By the time the finale wraps up, viewers know what happened to Matthew and get closure on the mystery and everyone involved. As a result, I Will Find You season 2 is unlikely. However, it probably won’t be long before the next Coben adaptation hits the service, probably in 2027.
