Teenage Fanclub have announced a new album, Do Not Dare to Dream, which is set for release on October 9 via Merge. The follow-up to 2023’s Nothing Lasts Forever is led by the warm and catchy ‘Day In The Sun’. It comes paired with a video filmed on location at Black Bay Studio on Great Bernera by Donald Milne. Commenting on the album title, the band’s Norman Blake said: “Those ‘dare to dream’ sentiments are kind of ridiculous. I don’t think the world works that way.” Raymond McGinley added, “We can still be cheerful and optimistic in the face of things not being great.”
