Helen – the trio comprising Grouper’s Liz Harris, bassist Scott Simmons, and drummer Jed Bindeman – have announced their first album in over a decade. The follow-up to 2015’s The Original Faces is called Linda’s Head, and it arrives October 2 via Kranky. Today’s announcement comes with the release of two songs, the title track and ‘Dead Shark II’, which enchantingly merge shoegaze and twee sensibilities. Take a listen below.
