Caio Locke to Discuss Dreamlike Cityscapes at COMO The Halkin

Anglo-Brazilian artist Caio Locke will present a selection of new and recent works at COMO The Halkin in London on 24 September, as part of an evening organised by Eclectic Gallery. COMO Conversation: Caio Locke will combine an exhibition viewing with an artist talk and informal Q&A, offering visitors an opportunity to hear Locke discuss the ideas and processes behind his intricate, imagined cityscapes.

Born between the cultural worlds of London and Rio de Janeiro, Locke originally trained as a lawyer before becoming a full-time artist in 2007. Working primarily in acrylic and oil, and informed by an early background in etching, he creates densely layered urban environments in which architecture and speculative futures overlap. His work has previously been shown at Christie’s and the National Museum of Scotland, while his public commissions have included the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt and the BFG Dream Jar project with Steven Spielberg.

The event will be taking place at COMO The Halkin in Belgravia from 6–8pm on Thursday, 24 September, with advance booking required.
