Madonna and Charli XCX have worked it out on the remix. Not that they were ever really feuding – in May, the queen of pop wrote on social media, “If your Dance floor feels dead, maybe you’re playing the wrong music,” referring to Charli XCX’s ‘Rock Music’ line “I think the dancefloor is dead/ So now we’re making rock music.” Soon enough, she and Charli were DJing together at a fashion show and its afterparty. Now, they’ve shared their much-anticipated collaboration, ‘Danceteria Afterhours’, the latest rework of a Confessions II cut. Listen to it below.
