A new documentary surrounding Jim Carrey’s role as Andy Kaufman is coming to Netflix.

Highly loved drama ‘Man on the Moon’ will be further explored like never before in the new documentary ‘Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond’. The documentary looks to show the behind the scenes footage from ‘Man on the Moon’, which had its behind the scenes footage hidden because Universal thought it will make Jim Carrey look like an ‘asshole’ due to his close portrayal of the late comedian Andy Kaufman, who was known for his unique and controversial antics.

‘Man on the Moon’ was originally released in 1999 and won Jim Carrey a Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical role. It was directed by the great Milos Forman who has also directed such films as ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, ‘Amadeus’ and ‘The People vs Larry Flynt’.

Whilst, ‘Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond’ is directed by Chris Smith who has directed such films as ‘American Movie’, ‘The Yes Men’ and ‘Collapse’.

The documentary will be premiered on Netflix from the 17th of November, exclusively on Netflix.
