Olivia Rodrigo‘s Sour Prom concert premiered in a YouTube livestream last night. After hosting a “pre-party” Q&A in which she answered questions about the making of her debut album Sour, the singer went on to perform several live renditions of its songs from various high school-themed locations, including a prom dancefloor and a football field, where she was joined by a marching band. Ahead of Sour Prom‘s debut, Rodrigo shared a series of promotional photos that sparked controversy after Courtney Love called out the singer for similarities to the cover of Hole’s Live Through This. Rodrigo herself acknowledged the similarities in a comment to her post, writing, “love u and live through this sooooo much.” Love replied: “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! Dm me for deets! I look forward to reading your note!”
