Marilyn Manson’s Home Raided by LA County Sheriff

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department raided an address associated with Marilyn Manson on Monday (November 29). According to Rolling Stone, Special Victims Unit investigators executed a search warrant in connection to the sexual assault allegations against the shock rocker, born Brian Hugh Warner, who was reportedly not home at the time of the raid.

“What I can confirm is there was a search warrant that was served this morning,” an L.A. County Sheriff’s source told the publication. “It’s confirmed it was [Warner’s] address, his location. It was a search warrant for his belongings.”

Among the possessions reportedly seized were hard drives and other media storage units.

At least 15 women, including actresses Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco, have publicly accused Manson of sexual abuse and other violent behavior. Manson has previously denied such allegations, calling them “horrible distortions of reality” that are part of a “coordinated attack” by women who are “cynically and dishonestly seeking to monetize and exploit the #MeToo movement.”

Last week, Manson was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards for his contributions to Kanye West’s Donda. Grammys CEO Harvey Mason Jr. defended the nominations, saying “We won’t look back at people’s history, we won’t look at their criminal record” when going through the nomination process.
