Spoon appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (February 15) to deliver a performance of ‘The Hardest Cut’, the lead single from their new album Lucifer on the Sofa. As part of a web-only exclusive, they also played the album track ‘Wild’ as well a couple of older tunes, ‘Small Stakes’ and ‘Inside Out’. Watch it below.
Lucifer on the Sofa, the group’s 10th studio album and first since 2017’s Hot Thoughts, arrived last Friday. In addition to ‘The Hardest Cut’ and ‘Wild’, the LP was previewed with the single ‘My Babe’, which landed on our Best New Songs segment. Spoon will head out on a North American tour in support of the album, kicking off in Boston on April 6.
