Lou Roy Unveils New Song ‘Down Since ’07’

Lou Roy has unveiled the latest offering from her forthcoming debut album, Pure Chaos. This one’s called ‘Down Since ’07’, and it follows previous entries ‘Uppercut’ and ‘Valkyrie’. Check it out below.

“More than one person has thought that this song is about me being depressed since 2007,” Roy said in a press release. “I used to say they were wrong and that it’s purely about being down to bang someone I met in 2007. I try to come off real calm, cool and collected initially as if I totally know what I’m after. However, by the end, I’m screaming about how down I am for this relationship, for sex….but it isn’t quite the joyful yodel into a lush canyon echoing back to me that I’d planned for. So yeah, shit, ‘Down Since ‘07’ might actually be about being all fucked up since 2007, and listeners knew it before I did.”

Pure Chaos, which was co-produced by Sarah Tudzin of illuminati hotties, is out April 29 via Balloon Machine.
