Tallies have shared a new single, ‘Special’, taken from their forthcoming sophomore album Patina. The Toronto dream-pop outfit announced the LP last month with the song ‘Hearts Underground’. Listen to ‘Special’ below.
“‘Special’ is about longing to be seen and heard by those who matter to you most,” the band commented in a statement. “Sometimes feeling invisible is particularly painful when the indifference comes from someone whose opinion means a lot to you.”
Patina arrives on July 29 via Kanine Records in the US, Hand Drawn Dracula in Canada, and Bella Union in Europe.
