Weyes Blood has shared a new song, ‘Grapevine’, the second preview of her forthcoming album And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow. It follows the lead single ‘It’s Not Just Me, It’s Everybody’, which we named a Song of the Week. Check out ‘Grapevine’ below.
“Technology is harvesting our attention away from each other,” Natalie Mering said of the new single. “We all have a ‘Grapevine’ entwined around our past with unresolved wounds and pain. Being in love doesn’t necessarily mean being together. Why else do so many love songs yearn for a connection?”
And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow is set for release on November 18 via Sub Pop.
