Alex Lahey has shared a new single, ‘The Sky Is Melting’, the latest preview of her upcoming album The Answer Is Always Yes. It follows previous cuts ‘They Wouldn’t Let Me In’, ‘Good Time’, and ‘Congratulations’. Check it out below.
“I went to the desert and did a bunch of edibles and a wrote a song about it,” Lahey said of ‘The Sky Is Melting’ in a statement. “Definitely not the first person in the world to do it. But maybe it’s the first song to reference both Michael Bolton and an unnamed verified Air BnB host in the same verse.”
The Answer Is Always Yes is due out May 19 via Liberation.
