Low’s Alan Sparhawk Details New Album, Shares Video for New Song ‘Can U Hear’

Back in April, Low’s Alan Sparhawk revealed he will be releasing a new album under his own name – his first release since the death of his wife and bandmate Mimi Parker in 2022 – this fall called White Roses, My God. Now, we know the album is set to arrive on September 27 on Sub Pop, and its first single, ‘Can U Hear’, is out today. Check it out via the Rick Alverson-directed video below.

White Roses, My God was recorded at 20 Below Studios in Duluth, Minnesota. It was co-produced and engineered by Alan Sparhawk and Nat Harvie, mixed by Nat Harvie, and mastered by Heba Kadry. Harvie, a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter, recently released their latest album New Virginity, which featured guitar and vocal contributions from Sparhawk.
