Vundabar have announced a new album, Surgery and Pleasure, which comes out March 7 via Loma Vista Recordings. Leading the LP is the blazing new single ‘Spades’, which follows the previously released ‘I Got Cracked’ and ‘Life Is a Movie’. “Surgery and Pleasure is a more mature synthesis of all the stuff we’ve explored before,” singer/guitarist Brandon Hagen said in a press release. “In a way it feels like a return. It’s grownup Vundabar.”
“I was dealing with how to accept that change is inevitable,” Hagen added. “These things can’t be fought. It’s about acceptance and empathy.”
