What happens when a former cocaine smuggler played by Catherine Zeta-Jones becomes the target of highly trained assassins? Naturally, she fights back. That’s the premise of thriller series Kill Jackie, available to stream on Prime Video in the UK.
While the show premiered in early October to mixed critic reviews, the general audience seems pumped for more. Could a second installment be on the way? Here’s what we know so far.
Kill Jackie Season 2 Release Date
At the time of writing, there’s no official news about a potential Kill Jackie season 2.
That said, we wouldn’t rule it out. Star Catherine Zeta-Jones seems excited by the possibility. “I’m not done with Jackie Price yet. I’ve got more in me for her,” she told Radio Times.
If all goes well, new episodes could arrive in late 2027.

What Is Kill Jackie About?
Kill Jackie follows Jackie Price. While she works as an art dealer, she used to be a cocaine smuggler back in the day. Her current life of luxury is a far cry from her dangerous past. And while it might be a tad boring, she worked hard to get where she is.
Everything changes when a violent attack makes it clear that someone wants her dead. Jackie discovers that the Seven Demons, a feared group of professional assassins, have been hired to eliminate her. Rather than go on run, she decides to hunt them before they can reach her.
Willing to do whatever it takes to survive, Jackie receives help from unlikely allies. The deeper into the conflict she gets, however, the more her past catches up with her.
By the time the first season wraps up, you get a sense of closure about Jackie’s mission to confront her pursuers. Yet, the ending definitely hints that there’s more story to tell.
“I think the story, it lends itself to go on to greater and bigger and crazier stuff. I’m hoping if we get a good audience reaction that could be a possibility. But if it’s not, I’m so happy with this show from beginning, middle and end that it would be one of my best experiences of working actually,” Zeta-Jones said in the same Radio Times interview.
Whether or not Kill Jackie season 2 happens, the eight episodes streaming are a fun escape from reality. Fingers crossed we’ll get more.
