The Terminal List Season 3: Cast, Rumours & Release Date

It’s been a long wait since thriller The Terminal List debuted back in 2022. Now, season 2 is finally streaming, expanding the revenge story into an international espionage extravaganza.

Turns out, absence might actually make the heart grow fonder. The show quickly shot to the top of Prime Video’s charts, proving that viewers are still keen to keep up with James Reece. Could this mean that a follow-up is on the way? Here’s what we know so far.

The Terminal List Season 3 Release Date

At the time of writing, Prime Video is keeping mum about a potential The Terminal List season 2. That said, a renewal announcement might be just around the corner.

The show is based on a novel series penned by Jack Carr, so there’s plenty of source material to draw inspiration from. Moreover, star Chris Pratt seems keen to reprise the role.

“I think success in this season would certainly be helpful to continue to tell these stories. I know the team that we have would love to. There isn’t anything official at the moment, but honestly, we have a lot of ideas,” Pratt said in an interview.

Author Jack Carr also teased that there might be good news on the way.

“I am not sure what we’re allowed to talk about as far as that goes, but I’m hopeful, and I can say that things are moving forward. There should be some announcements coming soon,” Carr told ScreenRant.

All in all, fans should be cautiously optimistic. As for when new episodes might arrive, we have no clue. Hopefully, not after another four-year hiatus.

What Is The Terminal List About?

The Terminal List centres on James Reece, a Navy SEAL commander whose life is shattered after his platoon is ambushed during a covert mission. When Reece returns home, he struggles with disturbing memories and unexplained blackouts. His search for answers becomes even more personal when his wife and daughter are murdered.

Convinced that powerful people orchestrated the deaths of his fellow soldiers and family, Reece begins to uncover evidence of a sinister operation. Before long, he creates a list of those responsible and sets out to kill them one by one. However, he also suffers from a brain tumour, often questioning whether he can trust his own mind.

In season 2, Reece is a wanted man. He is offered a chance to clear his name and receive treatment for his tumour if he agrees to help the CIA, but the mission grows complicated. It also leaves a few dangling plot threads The Terminal List season 3 might tackle. The third book in Carr’s series, Savage Son, provides a fine starting point.
