black midi Cover ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ and ‘What Christmas Means to Me’

black midi have shared two new holiday covers. The London quartet have offered their take on Bobby Helms’ 1957 classic ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ and ‘What Christmas Means to Me’ (most famously performed by Stevie Wonder). Proceeds from sales of the tracks, which are available at Bandcamp, will be directed towards the London music venue Windmill Brixton. Check them out below.

“We recorded a couple of covers of our favourite Christmas tunes at our rehearsal room and then added some bells an whistles at home,” the band wrote in a note on Bandcamp. “Usually we would do some fun one off covers shows at the Windmill around this time of year so hopefully this goes some way to fill the gap.”

black midi’s debut album Schlagenheim came out last year.
