Listen to Vampire Weekend’s New EP of ‘2021’ Reinterpretations

Vampire Weekend have released a new EP titled 40:42. It features two reinterpretations of the band’s Father of the Bridge track ‘2021’, recorded by jazz musician Sam Gendel and Connecticut jam quintet Goose respectively. Each rendition is 20 minutes and 21 seconds long (hence the title) and comes with its own accompanying visual. Check them out below.

Father of the Bride, Vampire Weekend’s fourth studio album, came out in 2019. ‘2021’ was the first single to be released from the album, alongside ‘Harmony Hall’.
