Ibeyi Unveil New Song ‘Recurring Dream’

Ibeyi, the duo of French-Cuban twin sisters Naomi and Lisa-Kaindé Diaz, have returned with a new single called ‘Recurring Dream’. The track was written and composed for Ed Morris’ new film How to Stop a Recurring Dream, a drama about a 19-year-old girl who kidnaps her estranged younger sister and takes to the road in order to prevent a family separation. Listen to it below.

‘Recurring Dream’ is Ibeyi’s first new song since 2018’s ‘Cleo Who Takes Care Of You’, which was released as part of a compilation of songs inspired by Alfonso Cuarón’s Roma. Previously, Ed Morris directed Ibeyi’s music videos for ‘River’, ‘Ghosts’, and ‘Deathless’. The duo’s last album was 2017’s Ash.
