deathcrash Release New Single ‘Horses’

London slowcore four-piece deathcrash have returned with a new single titled ‘Horses’. The track is paired with a video created by a YouTuber with the username Nicotine_age_drama_queen, whom the band contacted after coming across a surreal 13-part series they made. Watch and listen below.

The band’s Matt Weinberger said of ‘Horses’ in a statement: “The music is crushing and sad, but also nostalgic. For me, it came to be a kind of looking back, a desire for a simpler time. This is what the music from ‘Horses’ meant to me: nostalgia for a time where things were clearer and I felt better, but with the realisation that this nostalgia changes your relationship to the past, and distances you from it.”

Since forming in 2019, deathcrash have shared two EPs, 2019’s Sundown (A Collection of Home Recordings) and last year’s People thought my windows were stars.
