Interpol Recording New Album With Flood & Moulder

Interpol are currently in London recording a new album with producers Flood & Moulder. The trio’s last LP was 2018’s Marauder, which was followed by the 2019 EP A Fine Mess. The new record is expected to arrive next year via Matador Records.

“We are overjoyed to announce Flood & Moulder will be producing and mixing the next Interpol record,” the band’s Daniel Kessler said in a statement. “We are longtime admirers of their work and delighted to be in the studio with them. Starting this party right.”

Flood & Moulder’s work together includes Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, and Smashing Pumpkins, as well as Foals’ 2014 album Holy Fire.
