Babeheaven Release New Single ‘The Hours’

Babeheaven – the West London quintet led by Nancy Andersen and Jamie Travis – are back with a new single called ‘The Hours’. It marks their first new music since the release of their debut album, last year’s Home For Now. Give it a listen below.

“When writing this song I was thinking a lot about the concept of time shifting and the realities that we end up repeating and reliving,” Andersen said of ‘The Hours’ in a statement. “I wanted to reflect the mundaneness of life in the chorus’ repetition of ‘on and on’.”

She continued, “I was also thinking about how irrelevant we can seem when compared to the vastness of the open sky. The feeling of loneliness that comes when you’re sitting on the train looking at people whose worlds seem so far away. But also the unity in knowing that someone else might be feeling the same, remembering that all you need to do is reach out and find company. To be embraced by a community, to not feel alone even when you have been solitary for a while.”
