TV Priest have released a new single called ‘One Easy Thing’. It arrives with a video directed by collaborator Joe Wheatley, who also helmed the band’s videos for ‘Decoration’ and ‘Press Gang’. Check it out below.
Talking about the new song, singer Charlie Drinkwater explained in a statement: “Writing ‘One Easy Thing’ was key to unlocking a more direct and personal approach to our songwriting. It’s about dealing with the small things of everyday life; the anxiety, pressures, and battles inside your own headspace – and not being afraid to show this in our songs.”
‘One Easy Thing’ will appear on TV Priest’s forthcoming LP, which is due on Sub Pop later this year and will follow their 2021 debut Uppers. Back in September, the band shared the single ‘Lifesize’, their contribution to Vol. 6 of the Sub Pop Singles Club.
