Tancred, the project of Jess Abbott, has released a new song called ‘Jars’. “I wrote about the transition from being young and alone to being with someone who changes your life and kind of wakes you up from where you’ve been,” Abbott explained in a statement. Listen to it below.
‘Jars’ follows last month’s ‘Mirepoix’ featuring Jenny Owen Youngs, which marked Tancred’s first solo music since her 2018 album Nightstand. Last year, Abbott collaborated with Youngs and John Mark Nelson for a cover of ‘Silver Bells’ and the original track ‘Fireside’.
