Bored at My Grandmas House Shares New Single ‘Inhibitions’

Bored at My Grandmas House – the Leeds-based project of Amber Strawbridge – has returned with a new single, ‘Inhibitions’. Mostly written and recorded at home, the track was completed with Alex Greaves at The Nave (Bdrmm, Yard Act, Working Mens Club). Check it out below.

“‘Inhibitions’ is a track that’s a homage to all the over-thinkers in the world,” Strawbridge explained in a statement. “I wrote it from a place of reflection and frustration. It’s about feeling anxious day to day and watching my own inhibitions get in the way of everyday life and the things I want to achieve. It’s a feeling that was new to me and something that I felt I had no control over, written to reflect a time when I didn’t feel like my authentic self.”

Bored at My Grandmas House’s debut EP, Sometime I Forget You’re Human Too, came out in 2021. Revisit our Artist Spotlight interview with Bored at My Grandmas House.
