Jason Momoa Net Worth, Salary & Highest Grossing Movies

Whether you know him as Khal Drogo, Aquaman, or from any of his other blockbuster action roles, Jason Momoa has quickly made a name for himself in Hollywood. Ever since his big break in Game of Thrones, the actor has built a solid career while also earning big via brand partnerships and entrepreneurial ventures.

As a result, his net worth should be substantial by now, right? Here’s what we know about Momoa’s earnings.

Jason Momoa Net Worth

In 2026, Jason Momoa’s net worth is estimated to be $50 million.

A big chunk of it comes from his entertainment pursuits. It all started with a role in drama series Baywatch: Hawaii in 1999. After that, he starred in TV shows North Shore, Stargate Atlantis, and The Game.

In 2011, Momoa played Khal Drogo in hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones. As the leader of the Dothraki, he made a powerful impression despite appearing primarily in season one. The same year, he portrayed the title character in Conan the Barbarian, taking on the legendary sword-wielding warrior in a reboot of the fantasy franchise.

It was all uphill from there. In 2014, Momoa starred in Road to Paloma, an independent road drama about a Native American man fleeing the law. The project was particularly important to his development as a filmmaker because he co-wrote, directed, and produced it. On the TV front, he appeared in drama series The Red Road and led historical adventure series Frontier.

Momoa entered the DC superhero universe as Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman, with a brief appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, followed by Justice League in 2017. His first solo outing, Aquaman, became a major commercial success. He reprised the role in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

At the same time, Momoa tackled other blockbusters with great success. You might have seen him in Dune, Fast X, or A Minecraft Movie. From 2019 to 2022, he starred in the Apple science-fiction series See. More recently, the actor appeared in drama In the Hand of Dante and TV show Chief of War. He also produced and (co-)wrote many of his projects.

Besides working in entertainment, Momoa collaborated with various brands and launched his own businesses. The list includes production company Pride of Gypsies, a Hawaiian water company, and a vodka brand, among others.

Jason Momoa Salary

While actor salaries are generally kept under wraps, Momoa’s paychecks tend to be on the hefty side. He made the Forbes list of highest-paid actors of 2025 with earnings of $28 million.

Reports also suggest he got a $12 million pay rise to reprise his role in the Aquaman sequel and that he made $600,000 per episode for See. All in all, he can easily command anywhere between $2 million and $15 million per movie, depending on the project.

Momoa’s highest-grossing movie is Aquaman, which made $1.152 billion at the box office. A Minecraft Movie was another big earner with $961.2 million, while Fast X made an impressive $714.4 million worldwide.

This year, fans could catch Momoa in Prime Video action comedy The Wrecking Crew, DC movie Supergirl, and martial arts comedy Street Fighter, which came out in cinemas this month. He’ll also appear in Dune: Part Three, which hits theatres in December.
