Christopher Nolan’s latest project Dunkirk is looking to reach an astounding $51 million since its release couple days ago.
Previously, most sources predicted that Dunkirk will get from around $30 to $40 million in its box office Weekend. However, by Friday, the film cashed in $19.8 million and the estimate grew by a big margin. It looks like the film will hit around $51 million which will be $4 million more than his previous film Interstellar which reached $47 million with a budget higher than $15 million.
The overall review ratings of the film slightly dropped as the Rotten Tomatoes rating dropped b 4% and Metacritic by 2%, however, it does not seem to have damaged the buzz going around the film fanatics. The film still holds a rating over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic and mere criticisms do not seem to have damaged the reputation of the film.

Legendary Hollywood actor Willem Dafoe has officially turned 62 today.
The actor is known for his roles in Spiderman trilogy, Platoon, and Shadow of the Vampire. At 62 he seems to still go strong with several big projects still in the making such as Justice League which will be released in late 2017, and Aquaman which is to be released late 2018.
Dafoe has acted in over 100 films and has received two Academy Award nominations and one Golden Globe nomination. Contrastingly to his success, he did have some roles that did not pan out as he would have hoped, as he managed to also get two nominations for a Razzie award back in the 90’s for Speed 2: Cruise Control and Body of Evidence.

LCAW is one of the most exciting faces surfacing the world of music, today.
With his latest single ‘Nobody Else But You’ out now he joined us for a friendly chat to talk about music and culture.
Hi, how are you?
I’m great, thanks.
So, how did you get into music and when did yourealise you were going to make this your career?
My mother started teaching me on the piano when I was 2 years old and shortly before turning 18 I started producing electronic music. After getting a lot of traction on my first released remix of “Run” by daughter I knew a career would be possible if I played my cards right.
Your latest single ‘Nobody Else But You’ is doing well, how did it come about?
I’ve been travelling to Stockholm a lot for writing sessions and on my most recent trip, the first ideas for ‘Nobody Else But You’ came together. I always wanted to incorporate funk and disco elements and for this track, I just had the perfect opportunity to finally make it happen.
What are the challenges of making a song like that?
Since most of the elements are played live the biggest challenge was to create sounds exactly the way I imagined them. With synthesizers, it is easier to change the shape of the sound.
So, what are your plans for the rest of 2017?
I’m currently finishing a bunch of other tracks which will follow up on Nobody Else But You, I definitely want to get back on remixing as well, my last remix was quite a while ago for Australian band Rüfüs.
Now, how would you describe yourself in one word?
melancholic
How would you describe your music in one word?
melancholic
Final question, what is your definition of culture?
Culture is freedom. It that lasts much longer than a human life, something that lets us experience the world from a different point of view, teaches us solidarity and tolerance, it does not have any boundaries and sometimes it’s the only way to criticise and/or escape reality.
