Are you a fan of underrated dark comedies? Then you’re probably familiar with German series Where’s Wanda? Available on Apple TV, it boasts a 100% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and has recently returned with season 2.
There’s a new mystery to untangle as the family at the centre of the show attempts to keep their sanity among fresh challenges. Could this mean that a follow-up might be on the way? Here’s what we know so far.
Where’s Wanda? Season 3 Release Date
At the time of writing, Apple TV hasn’t confirmed whether there will be a Where’s Wanda season 3.
That said, the show just premiered its second season, with only two episodes available so far. It all depends on how this installment ends and if the show continues to draw in viewers.
As long as all goes well, a third chapter could drop in a couple of years.

What Is Where’s Wanda? About?
Where’s Wanda? revolves around a family whose search for their missing teen daughter leads them into a world of suburban scandal.
Carlotta and Dedo struggle to cope following the disappearance of 17-year-old Wanda. Frustrated with the police’s inability to find her, they enlist the help of their son to obtain surveillance equipment. The couple then bug homes throughout their neighbourhood, hoping to uncover clues about Wanda’s whereabouts.
Before long, their investigation reveals that the respectable residents are hiding all kinds of shocking secrets. The show is an appealing mix of mystery, comedy, and family drama.
In the second season, Wanda, who reunited with her loved ones, is caught in a compromising position and goes to prison. Once again, it’s up to her parents to figure out how to prove her innocence and keep her safe.
“They have just got their daughter back, and now they have to deal with what this will do to them. It also affects the family’s position in Sundersheim. What are the neighbours thinking? What do the people in Sundersheim think? Is it right that their daughter is in prison? There are a lot of questions being asked,” exec producer Nataly Kudiabor teased in a Deadline interview.
While Where’s Wanda? season 3 isn’t a sure bet, you can catch season 2 episodes weekly on Apple TV. The finale arrives on December 9.
