Watch Sturgill Simpson Perform ‘Life of Sin’ on ‘Fallon’

Sturgill Simpson appeared on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform his bluegrass rendition of ‘Life of Sin’, from Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 1 – The Butcher Shoppe Sessions. ‘Life of Sin’ is originally taken from the musician’s 2014 LP Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, before he reworked it for his Cuttin’ Grass series. Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 1 was released in October of last year, while the second installment followed in December. Also last month, Simpson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform ‘All the Pretty Colors’. His 2019 album, SOUND & FURY, is up for Best Rock Album at the 2021 Grammys.
