Watch Bruce Springsteen Perform ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ at ‘Celebrating America’ Inauguration Concert

    Bruce Springsteen delivered a performance of ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ last night (January 20) from the front steps of the Lincoln Memorial to celebrate the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Sprinsgteen’s acoustic rendition opened the evening’s Celebrating America event. Watch it below.

    “I’m proud to be here in cold Washington D.C. tonight,” Springsteen said ahead of his performance. “I wanna offer this small prayer for our country.”

    Last night’s primetime special, hosted by Tom Hanks, also featured performances from Justin Timberlake, Foo Fighters, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Katy Perry, and others. The swearing-in ceremony earlier that day featured Lady Gaga singing the National Anthems as well as performances from Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks. New Radicals reunited after 22 years to perform ‘You Get What You Give’ at the virtual parade.

    Twelve years ago, Bruce Springsteen took part in the We Are One concert to celebrate the incoming Obama-Biden administration. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Obama in 2016.
