Ratboys Unveil New Song ‘Go Outside’

Chicago four-piece Ratboys have released a new song called ‘Go Outside’. As Stereogum points out, the band shared the track yesterday for their Patreon subscribers to commemorate the one-year anniversary of their album Printer’s Devils, and it’s now been made widely available. Check it out below.

“We wrote this song on a whim when we were home in between tours in April 2019,” singer Julia Steiner wrote of in a press release. “It’s this carefree and wistful, totally innocent song about wanting to travel and spend time with loved ones. We didn’t realize that we wouldn’t be able to do either of those things before long.”

Printer’s Devils marked the Ratboys’ third studio album, following 2017’s GN. Steiner also contributed to Wild Pink’s recently released LP, A Billion Little Lights.
