A new track from the posthumous DMX album Exodus has been unveiled. Co-produced by Avenue Beatz and Swizz Beatz, ‘Hood Blues’ samples Lee Mason & His Orchestra’s ‘Shady Blues’ and features Griselda’s Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher, and Conway the Machine. Check it out below.
Exodus arrives this Friday (May 28) via Def Jam. The album is set to feature guest appearances from Bono, JAY-Z, Nas, DMX’s son Exodus Simmons, and others. DMX died last month following an overdose and a heart attack.
