Amyl and the Sniffers have previewed their upcoming album Comfort to Me with a new track called ‘Hertz’. The single follows previous entries ‘Security’ and ‘Guided by Angels’. Check out its music video below.
“‘Hertz’ is a daydream of wanting to go to the country/bush and see landscapes other than the city,” band leader Amy Taylor said in a statement. “It was written in 2019 but it very much sounds like a pandemic song, because it’s a daydream about being repulsed by confinement, and frustrated over being stuck in one place.”
Comfort to Me, the band’s sophomore LP, is set for release on September 10.
