sir Was, the moniker of Swedish producer and multi-instrumentalist Joel Wästberg, has shared another single from his upcoming album Let the Morning Come. The track, titled ‘Before the Morning Comes’, is set to feature on the new FIFA 2022 soundtrack, which was also announced today. Give it a listen below.
“This is a song about waiting, hoping, and longing for change,” Wästberg said in a statement. “Some of these nights are just too long and we gotta get somewhere before the morning comes.”
Let the Morning Come is due for release on October 15 via Memphis Industries. sir Was previously shared the singles ‘I Wanna Feel Like That’, ‘Spend a Lifetime’, and ‘Waiting For The Weekend’.
