What Is Minerva Academy About?
Minerva Academy is set at an elite military high school where students live under strict rules. Think flag-raising ceremonies and grueling training sessions. The plot revolves around Salvo, a teenager who enrolls at the school because his friend Francesco, who used to be a student, disappeared without a trace.
Salvo is determined to find out what happened to him. While he investigates, he gets caught up in the academy’s complicated social hierarchy. Rivalries between cadets, forbidden romances, bullying, and abuse of power all complicate his search for the truth. Needless to say, the school’s polished image hides a darker culture.
By the time the first season comes to an end, viewers find out what really happened to Francesco. Since graduation is a long way off, Minerva Academy season 2 could continue to follow the students as they navigate romance, training, and growing up. If the creators throw another mystery into the mix, even better.
