Japanese Breakfast Shares Video for New Single ‘Posing In Bondage’

Japanese Breakfast has shared a new song called ‘Posing in Bondage’. It’s the second single from her upcoming album Jubilee and it arrives with an accompanying self-directed video. Check it out below.

“‘Posing in Bondage’ is a ballad about loneliness and longing, a song about two people who want so badly to connect but are never quite able to do so. No place felt lonelier than an empty grocery at 1 AM,” Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner explained in a statement. “The video is actually an epilogue to the one that will accompany our next single, here presented out of order.”

Jubilee arrives on June 4 via Dead Oceans. Previously, Zauner shared the lead single ‘Be Sweet’, which was our Song of the Week following its release. Along with the new single, Japanese Breakfast has also announced a series of North American tour dates, which you can also find below. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 16.
