Explosions in the Sky have released a new song, ‘Nightfall’, taken from the band’s soundtrack to the PBS documentary Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas. The track follows previous cuts ‘Climbing Bear’ and ‘Flying’. Check out its accompanying visual, featuring slow-motion footage of a bat in flight, below.
Big Bend (An Original Soundtrack for Public Television) is due out on October 1. The band began working on the score for the nature documentary back in 2019, three years after the release of their last studio album, The Wilderness.
